I found out that MS has stopped to support this Office version. What should I do now??? What exactly do you mean by rejected? Do you have the option to use phone update, and if so wait until given the option to speak to a real person.

Although Office is no longer supported by MS, it can still be installed and activated, even on Win But as you have learned, MS Support is very pedantic and will no longer do anything to help you with Double check to make sure you are entering the right number.

From MS’s point of view, “no support” means no longer providing updates and no phone support at all, as you found out. If in activation you are not given the option to use phone activation, and you are in the US this is the activation phone. Call again, if a retail version they cannot refuse the request, nor can they tell you to contact support or MS Answers as neither of those can help. Not supported only means that no queries will be answered and Office updates are not available, Activation is not a query.
That is right, is no longer supported, the average MS support person won’t give you the time of day if you talk about there are one or two exceptions. Using a different key will get you support for that product, but if you try to switch the topic to they still will not help you. Sorry to say, you are on your own with this. We don’t have access to the product key system so there is nothing we can do to help with a key problem. Unfortunately, this is MS’s back door way of “gently encouraging” you to spend money on a their new product.
